About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (systems, electrical, administration, or any other relevant discipline).
  • More than 10 years of experience in managing multidisciplinary teams in the aerospace, defense, government technology, national security, or highly regulated sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading organizations responsible for the execution of complex programs, strategic contract delivery, or large-scale engineering activities.
  • Solid understanding of program management, operational governance, systems integration, risk management, and complex technical solution delivery.
  • Recognized mobilizing leadership and proven ability to influence leaders, strategic clients, partners, and multidisciplinary teams in fast-evolving environments.
  • French is required.
  • English is also required for regular communication with clients outside of Quebec.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the SDS business execution strategy to ensure sustainable growth, exemplary operational performance, and long-term value creation for the sector.
  • Lead the entire portfolio of strategic programs and contracts, ensuring their safe, compliant, profitable, and predictable realization.
  • Mobilize multidisciplinary teams including engineering, project management, systems integration, operations, supply chain, and customer support to deliver solutions that meet the highest industry expectations.
  • Implement rigorous governance for commercial contracts, including risk management, performance monitoring, critical issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with business development and sales teams to support strategic initiatives, growth opportunities, and key customer relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, cybersecurity, quality, and safety requirements specific to highly regulated environments.
  • Develop the organizational capabilities necessary to support the future expansion of the business while fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.
  • Act as a strategic partner to management, clients, and partners to contribute to the long-term success of the SDS business.
