About The Position

Aleut Federal is seeking a Space Battle Management (SBM) Instructor/Curriculum Developer to support the 533d Training Squadron’s USSF Guardian Enlisted Training (GET) initiative at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. This role is crucial for refining the training of enlisted Guardians to prepare them for dominating in the space-domain, serving as technical specialists, leaders, weapon system experts, and advisors. The GET initiative transforms initial skills training to meet the Chief of Space Operations’ vision for enlisted force development. The position involves developing and delivering instruction on SBM concepts and operations, assessing and mentoring students, supporting integrated events, and participating in curriculum reviews and maintenance. The work is slated to start on January 1, 2027, contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

Skilled communicator, experienced in providing platform instruction to an academically diverse audience.
Experience developing curriculum using Instructional Systems Design (ISD) standards.
Prior completion of AETC Basic Instructor Course (BIC) or other service equivalent, accepted by CCAF or ability to obtain a CCAF accredited BIC certification within 3 months after employment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
Active or current Top-Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility required.
Bachelor’s degree required or Community College of the Air Force associates degree in Air & Space Operations Technology.
Minimum 3 years of experience in ISD-based curriculum/lesson development.
Minimum 3 years of space experience in the specific mission area of this position with a US Government agency.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a formal instructor or 5 years as a briefer/public speaking.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver instruction on SBM concepts and operations to include theater-level SBM support to the Combined Space Operations Center (CSpOC) mission, and SBM and Orbital Warfare support concepts to the National Space Defense Center (NSDC) mission.
Assess and mentor students.
Support integrated events, guest instruction, and multi-course instruction.
Support mission integration and Graduation Exercise (GRADEX) activities.
Participate in curriculum reviews, agile course development and maintenance efforts.
Maintain LMS records and student documentation.
Participate in faculty development and continuous improvement activities.
Coordinate activities with Contract PM and government supervisory personnel.
Additional duties as assigned.
