About The Position

The Space and Assortment Planning Coordinator supports a team responsible for planning how products are selected, arranged, and presented in retail stores. The role maintains accurate information in planning tools, assists with space and assortment projects, and uses space and assortment building software under supervision. It offers an opportunity to learn retail planning initiatives, client strategies, and solutions that support customer goals. This is a temporary contract position ending December 31, based primarily in an office, with no essential travel or driving requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• Around 1–2 years of experience in merchandising or planogram development; the posting also describes experience or a strong interest in learning, with planogram or floorplan knowledge preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web browsers.
• Organization and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support Space and Assortment planning teams on projects, working independently as well as with teammates and clients when needed.
• Maintain and update data and information in planning tools to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Support work in Space and Assortment building software under supervision.
• Learn Space and Assortment planning initiatives and identify innovative solutions to support customer goals.
• Learn basic client and customer strategies to support the department.
• Accurately record all time worked.
