About The Position

The Space Analyst supports the Growth Team by analyzing complex data and delivering insights, business models, reports, dashboards, and planograms. The role supports supplier and retailer guidelines, including shelving guidance for regional marketing and local sales teams, and contributes to category management, strategic planning, and business development. The position can be based at any RBG facility in California.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years of related experience, or a high school diploma or GED and 5 to 7 or more years of specific experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large, complex data sets to address strategic and operational business questions.
• Distill and communicate key insights across all levels of the organization.
• Analyze space data, build business models, and develop reports, dashboards, and planograms supporting supplier and retailer guidelines, including shelving guidance for regional marketing and local sales teams.
• Deliver standard category management practices, including shelf management, promotion planning and analysis, pricing analysis, and business development projects.
• Support strategic planning through forward-looking consumer and shopper analysis; evaluate threats, implications, and opportunities and make actionable recommendations.
• Conduct supplier and brand analyses, including financial, pricing, profitability, and market-data simulation analyses, to support business optimization, promotions, categories, pricing, forecasting, and planning.
• Identify performance gaps and quantify opportunities to accelerate performance through targeted analytical expertise.
• Manage multiple data initiatives, projects, metrics, and ad hoc analyses for the Growth Team.
• Perform other projects or duties as assigned.
