Spa Lilliana located at Hotel Effie is seeking a Spa Supervisor/Front Desk Coordinator to play a vital leadership role in delivering an exceptional spa experience for every guest. This position oversees daily front desk and spa operations, ensuring seamless scheduling, outstanding service, and a welcoming, well-organized environment. Serving as the primary point of contact for guests and team members, the Spa Supervisor supports staff performance, maintains operational excellence, and helps drive retail and service revenue. With a strong focus on guest satisfaction, efficiency, and professionalism, this role is ideal for a service-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced, wellness-focused setting.:

Requirements

  • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.

  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Hotel Effie standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform.
  • Comply with Hotel Effie standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
  • Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
  • Must be able to understand and apply complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.
  • Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of information.
  • Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.
  • Must be willing to perform other duties as requested by management.
  • Always maintain a friendly and warm demeanor and show decorum.
  • Ensure dress code and hygiene is of highest standard due to the proximity of working with the guests. At no time is cigarette smoke allowed to be on the hands, clothes, or breath of a spa employee during a shift.
  • Flexible hours and days are required.
  • Medium lifting required – Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • High School diploma required.
  • 1-year experience in a spa or related field preferred.
  • 1-year retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Employees must always be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees.
  • Ensure the facility is prepared for proper opening and closing each day.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the facilities including ensuring facility/amenities are in proper working order.
  • Must be the initial and complete source of information regarding what is available at the Spa and all procedures to ensure guest comfort (i.e., treatments, equipment, products, and retail items).
  • Arrange spa appointments for guests and groups.
  • Handle all administrative functions of the Spa including using spa software, maintaining inventory of supplies, answering telephones, making appointments, and answering questions.
  • Oversee efficiency of spa operations at the front desk & attendants via proper scheduling of appointments and staff.
  • Review/revise scheduling daily according to business demands.
  • Assist with billing for all spa services, memberships and retail sales including preparing invoices.
  • Be thoroughly familiar with and provide instruction on spa software.
  • Lead inventory counts, entering system and cost control.
  • Issue locker keys and regulate intake forms as necessary.
  • Assist in monitoring and evaluating spa reception employees.
  • Train & develop current and new front desk and attendant spa employees.
  • Serve as spa M.O.D. in the absence of Director
  • Provide CPR/First Aid as necessary.
