About The Position

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Male Locker Room Attendant for the Barton Creek Resort & Spa. This role is primarily responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of spa guest areas, including locker rooms, restrooms, wet areas, the salon, and tranquility room, following trained procedures. The attendant will direct all efforts toward guest satisfaction and the achievement and maintenance of Omni standards. This position specifically involves working in the Male locker rooms.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must speak fluent English.
Must be able to perform a variety of responsibilities, including guest service, cleaning, and maintenance of the Locker Room.
Must be alert to safety hazards to ensure guest safety and smooth operation of the Locker Room.
Must be able to deal with people in a professional manner under pressure.
Must be flexible in work scheduling.
Must be able to perform some strenuous physical labor (lifting boxes).
Professional appearance.

Responsibilities

Adhere to all standard policies and procedures.
Perform all guest activities in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner, maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction.
Maintain a cooperative, team-like attitude in working with management and fellow associates in all Omni departments.
Help achieve common goals of maximizing guest satisfaction and profit margins.
Report to work on time in a properly cleaned and pressed uniform.
Ensure hygiene standards are met, especially regarding personal scent.
Take care of guest needs, ensuring supplies are available and facilities are kept clean and safe.
Monitor guests, ensuring their safety by showing them proper use of facilities and preventing overuse of amenities like the steam room, whirlpool, and sauna.
Monitor whirlpool and steam room, notifying management when facilities need servicing.
Report and document any observed or known safety hazards, conditions, or unsafe practices and procedures to management immediately.
Adhere to Omni standards for guest service by addressing every opportunity to serve guests in a timely and professional manner.
Perform opening and closing duties in the locker area; ensure supplies are available and facilities are kept clean and safe.
Maintain tidiness of spa areas, ensuring they are CRISP in appearance.
Refer guest problems or complaints to management.
Distribute linens to necessary areas of the spa and ensure soiled laundry is available for processing.
Assist other Omni departments whenever necessary.
Attend all training sessions, learning new techniques for job performance.
Attend all Omni training classes.
Clock in and out at every shift.
Report any maintenance problems throughout the spa to the proper authority.
Promote self and other Spa, Hotel, and Club affiliates and services.
Maintain client and spa business confidentiality/privacy at all times.
Perform other job-related duties as directed.
