About The Position

Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa, nestled in the scenic Texas Hill Country, is seeking a full-time Spa Front Desk Agent. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Prior experience in a customer-oriented atmosphere, preferably in a hospitality field required.
  • Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, members, management, and co-workers, both in person and by telephone.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Spa and retail experience is preferred.
  • General knowledge of cash handling and Point of Sale systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all policies and procedures.
  • Perform all guest activities in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner, maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction.
  • Be cooperative and a team player when working with management and fellow associates in all Omni departments.
  • Maintain a positive manner towards co-workers and the job being performed.
  • Report to work on time in a properly cleaned and pressed uniform.
  • Adhere to a professional relationship with clients of The Spa.
  • Schedule all spa services (via telephone and in person) efficiently to maximize associate productivity.
  • Promote and sell all spa services and listen to the needs of each guest.
  • Maintain work area in a neat and clean manner at all times, including reception area, staff break room, receptionist desk, and work folders.
  • Participate in maintaining neatness of service waiting areas including Front Lobby, Tranquility lounge, and Locker room.
  • Participate in maintaining and ongoing organization of the retail areas and lobby areas.
  • Meet and greet each guest as they enter the Spa.
  • Verify the guest’s schedule, orient the guest to the spa facilities and other amenities, and obtain payment method upon exit.
  • Be fluent and knowledgeable about spa services, prices, facilities, and other campus activities.
  • Confirm all guest appointments via phone or in person within the allocated time.
  • Attend all training sessions, learning new techniques to be used in the performance of the job.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by a supervisor or manager.
  • Report any maintenance problems throughout the spa to management.
  • Promote Spa, Hotel, and Club affiliates and services.
  • Maintain client and spa business confidentiality/privacy at all times.
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the resort.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper attire/uniform and name tag when working.
  • Be responsible for either the opening or closing of the outlet as assigned by the Retail Manager or Retail Supervisor, ensuring outlets are open on time.
  • Be responsible for maintaining assigned bank each shift.
  • Be responsible for all visual merchandising, including unpacking, folding, hanging, and displaying merchandise according to quality standards and placing it in the appropriate location by the beginning of the next day.
  • Follow up on daily projects to ensure follow-through.
  • Assist with physical inventory when needed.
  • Be responsible for maintaining a clean work area.
  • Maintain general knowledge of the Resort property, including locations of dining outlets, pools, and knowing the property’s daily activities for guests and their children, etc., in order to assist guests and members.
