About The Position

Cascade Spa operates 24/7, so shift days, start/end times, and weekly hours may vary. As a Esthetician, you’ll provide exceptional spa services to our guests, maintain treatment rooms to universal sanitation standards, and ensure every guest leaves feeling refreshed and cared for. You will also embody our commitment to guest service, professionalism, and privacy.

Requirements

  • Must be proficient in all Cascade Spa treatments and services.
  • Consult with clients regarding skin type and proper facials.
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
  • Enthusiastic, high-energy team player.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and an outgoing personality.
  • Genuine passion for guest care.
  • Comfortable working in an aromatherapy-rich environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and staying current on spa trends and treatments.
  • Current Esthetician license issued by NH Board of Barbering and Cosmetology.
  • Minimum of 1 year of esthetician experience.
  • Skilled in facial protocols, waxing, and body treatments.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of guest services and retail inventory.
  • Professional demeanor, effective listening, and communication skills.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Lift, move, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Perform cosmetic services requiring fine motor skills, bending, and fluid arm/hand movement.
  • Work primarily in an interior hotel/spa environment.
  • Operate office equipment such as phone, computer, copier, and fax.
  • Must have close vision with or without corrective lenses.
  • May be required to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Maintain professional behavior at all times.
  • Practice and reinforce good business practices relating to harassment, discrimination, and workplace conduct.
  • Follow company policies outlined in the TPG & Mill Falls Handbooks.
  • Maintain composure in stressful situations.
  • Adhere to work schedules and notify personnel of changes as needed.
  • Present a positive attitude toward guests and co-workers.

Nice To Haves

  • Resort/spa experience preferred.
  • Hydrofacial certification preferred.
  • Luxury retail cosmetics experience preferred.
  • CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all facials and spa services offered, following established protocols.
  • Prepare treatment rooms with equipment, supplies, and music prior to each session.
  • Review clients’ facial intake forms, ask and answer questions, and provide guidance for comfort, safety, and education.
  • Assist with laundry and general housekeeping duties.
  • Suggest and sell retail products to guests.
  • Recommend additional spa treatments based on guest needs.
  • Maintain knowledge of product ingredients and treatment benefits.
  • Complete all assigned side work and attend mandatory staff meetings.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized according to procedures.
  • Maintain a professional, clean, and tidy appearance.
  • Communicate product needs to the Spa Director or Salon Manager.
