About The Position

The Esthetician is responsible for delivering exceptional skincare and esthetic treatments in accordance with The Spa at Estate Yountville’s service standards. Reporting to the Lead Esthetician, with oversight from the Spa Director, this role provides personalized treatments, supports retail performance, and maintains treatment room standards to ensure a consistent and elevated guest experience.

Requirements

  • Active and current Esthetician License in good standing.
  • Completion of state-required esthetics training hours.
  • Strong knowledge of skincare products, contraindications, and esthetic techniques.
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while following established protocols.
  • Commitment to maintaining licensure and continuing education

Nice To Haves

  • Previous spa or luxury hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all facial, skincare, and esthetic treatments in accordance with the Spa Treatment Menu and Esthetics Protocol Manual.
  • Customize treatments based on guest skin conditions, contraindications, and feedback.
  • Maintain knowledge of skin physiology, product ingredients, and treatment benefits.
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality treatments aligned with luxury spa standards.
  • Conduct thorough guest consultations and maintain accurate treatment documentation.
  • Recommend appropriate home care products, enhancements, and follow-up services.
  • Adhere to scheduled treatment times and professional shift standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of treatment rooms in accordance with state board regulations.
  • Properly disinfect tools and equipment following all sanitation requirements.
  • Restock treatment rooms and notify leadership of inventory needs.
  • Support retail operations by maintaining product knowledge and meeting established sales goals.
  • Attend scheduled trainings and participate in ongoing education.
  • Address guest concerns professionally and escalate service recovery needs to leadership when appropriate.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support spa operations.
  • Uphold Estate Yountville’s luxury service standards and Forbes expectations in all guest interactions.
  • Deliver personalized consultations with professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Maintain consistent treatment flow, consultation protocols, and closing procedures.
  • Ensure daily treatment room readiness, including sanitation, device functionality, and presentation.
  • Support performance standards including rebooking, enhancement capture, retail conversion, and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain professionalism and composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Foster a respectful and cooperative team environment aligned with Estate values.
