About The Position

Andaz Miami Beach is now recruiting for a part-time Spa Coordinator/Attendant to join the hotel's opening team. An art-deco building and architectural landmark is home to the newest luxury lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Mid-beach. The property boasts 287 guestrooms including 64 breathtaking suites and the ONLY Ocean-view arrival experience in Miami Beach. The design features elements of texture, art, and pops of color that create a unique and captivating experience. Each suite is designed with floor-to-ceiling windows, most with deep-soaking tubs, and cozy reading nooks. Guests can also enjoy private outdoor terraces with stunning views of the Atlantic and the Miami skyline. Unmatched amenities include a full-service spa, a well-equipped fitness center, a destination dining experience by José Andrés, two pools, and a Beach Club catering to the who's who of Miami. Spanning 25,000 square feet of innovative indoor and outdoor event space, Andaz Miami Beach will become a landing spot for guests and locals seeking celebratory gatherings that embrace the city's culture of music, art, and fashion. The Spa Coordinator/Attendant is responsible for checking in guests at our Spa, scheduling and managing appointments and maintaining cleanliness of the spa facility including locker rooms, quiet lounge and pool deck. Acting as a liaison between guests, spa management and other departments of the resort when necessary. The Spa Coordinator must provide quality guest service experience and maintain a positive work environment for spa staff.

Requirements

  • Must be able to respond to individual guest needs and adhere to company standards as written in the employee handbook.
  • Must possess attention to detail and a high standard for cleanliness.
  • Capable of dealing with stressful situations calmly and professionally.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Must be proficient with computers, particularly Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays is required.
  • Display professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Maintains a positive attitude and takes initiative to get the job done.
  • Committed to producing quality work.
  • Supportive team player.
  • Eager to learn and to share knowledge and skills.
