About The Position

The Spa Concierge will work as a part of the Spa team to consistently provide the highest possible standard of guest service, creating a sensory journey for guests helping them to rest, relax and regain a sense of balance and harmony in their lives. This role is responsible for scheduling and confirming appointments, greeting guests, providing locker set up of robes and slippers, beverages and checking in and checking out of guests. The Spa Concierge will also ensure pre-selling, up-selling and cross-selling of services and retail products to each guest, relaying product and service benefits and assisting with retail sales. Additionally, they will provide tours of the spa, offer/serve beverages, communicate spa promotions, and maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the spa facility, locker room, and fitness center. This role involves escorting guests to various areas, performing daily cleaning and minor maintenance, and managing the opening/closing and sanitation of specific spa areas. The Spa Concierge must also adhere to cash handling procedures and resolve guest challenges effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year experience working in a customer service-based position.
  • Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language required.
  • Must be able to communicate with guests and staff professionally and with empathy.
  • Commitment to exceeding the expectations of customers, always operating with a strong attention to detail to the client’s needs.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Must obtain a State of Florida TIPS Alcoholic Beverage Server Permit.

Responsibilities

  • Escort guests to the locker room, relaxation area and enlighten them on their services.
  • Perform daily general cleaning and minor maintenance tasks in the spa facility.
  • Responsible for opening and/or closing of the hammam, sauna, steam room and whirlpool areas, and their daily sanitation.
  • Ensure cash handling procedures are always adhered to.
  • Ensure all guest challenges are resolved in a timely manner and management is made aware of the situation.
