About The Position

The Spa Attendant is responsible for the overall cleanliness and presentation of the spa, pool, hot tubs, fitness center, and locker rooms. This role requires a detail-oriented, organized, and flexible individual who can complete general cleaning duties, multi-task, and adapt to different situations. The ideal candidate will possess good interpersonal and communication skills, and exhibit a personable, respectful, positive, ethical, trustworthy, professional, self-motivated, diplomatic, and confident demeanor. The position requires the ability to work weekends, holidays, and nights.

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and maintaining the spa, pool(s), hot tub(s), men’s and women’s locker rooms.
  • Replacing and removing towels for cleaning.
  • Communicating with guests, offering water, towels, or assistance.
  • Ensuring all carpeted areas are kept clean and free from debris.
  • Ensuring all hard floors are kept clean and well maintained.
  • Being knowledgeable regarding equipment and chemicals.
  • Understanding the hazard communications program.
  • Responding to guest and management requests.
  • Being flexible with schedule to meet hotel needs.
  • Ensuring all spills are cleaned up immediately.
  • Monitoring and reporting all maintenance related problems.
