About The Position

The Spa Attendant guarantees guests receive optimal services by executing support responsibilities that provide the smooth flow of operations within the location. They concentrate on maintaining a sanitary facility, performing general cleaning and organizational tasks and monitoring location laundry needs, and keeping the spa stocked with fresh linens, robes, etc. Formal education is not required for this role; however, candidates should have a basic education of responsibilities and duties for this role. As a Spa Attendant, employees will execute an assortment of housekeeping responsibilities including completing laundry, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, dusting, etc. This position requires someone that is detailed oriented, organized, and able to follow verbal commands. In addition to being physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during their assigned shift, they must have the ability to stand for long lengths of time. The Spa Attendant is responsible for conforming to Woodhouse Spa standards and will strive each day to exceed guest expectations.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills.
  • Appreciation for cleanliness and sanitation
  • Ensuring clean, fresh laundry is available all day
  • Folding/Stocking laundry, towels, linen, supplies and amenities in the locker rooms, lounge areas and common areas at a busy spa
  • Being able to move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 40 lbs without assistance.
  • Standing and/or walking for extended periods of time or for entire work shift.
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • Positive attitude is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong communication and team work skills are always a plus.
  • Previous customer service and/or housekeeping experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work weekends - 1 Weekend day shift required of all Employees
  • Be flexible to accommodate and support schedule needs for Front Desk Team & Woodhouse Customer Service Standards

Responsibilities

  • Completing laundry, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, dusting, etc.
  • Maintaining and ensuring ample linen, robes, dishware, etc. (all spa items) ready for guest and team member use.
  • Responsible for Guest Relaxation Room/Dressing Room/Treatment Room sweeps to pick up all dishes, used robes, linen, spa slippers and misc. items
  • Assisting the Service Provider Teams with turning over and sanitizing treatment rooms in a timely and effective manner.
  • Restocking all snacks and maintaining all levels of comfort for guests.
  • Keeping the Break Room/Sink/Dishwasher in order.
  • Maneuvering the spa with ease and grace collecting used laundry without distracting guests or team members
  • Greeting guests with a smile!
  • Being a steward of the Woodhouse Brand making sure all areas comply to Woodhouse Standards
  • Taking pride in his/her work while communicating with the Front Desk Team to meet and exceed guests expectations.
  • Assisting in meeting and exceeding both State and Woodhouse Sanitation Standards.
