About The Position

The Spa Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the spa and wellness areas, ensuring a luxurious and relaxing environment for guests. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to upholding high hospitality standards.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Must be able to maintain a professional and polished demeanor at all times.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift).
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and stooping.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs, including linen bags, trash, and cleaning supplies.
  • Comfortable working in a humid or warm environment, especially in steam rooms and sauna areas.
  • Ability to use cleaning equipment and tools, including vacuums, mops, and cleaning chemicals.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous housekeeping or spa experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize all spa areas, including treatment rooms, relaxation lounges, locker rooms, showers, steam rooms, and common areas.
  • Restock towels, linens, amenities, and other supplies in designated spa areas.
  • Ensure all spa equipment and furniture are well-maintained and in pristine condition.
  • Remove used linens and towels promptly and transport them to the appropriate laundry area.
  • Empty trash and dispose of waste in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Report any maintenance issues, broken equipment, or safety hazards to management.
  • Assist with laundry duties related to spa linens and robes as needed.
  • Provide friendly and professional service to guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
  • Assist spa therapists and other team members with cleaning and resetting treatment rooms.
  • Ensure compliance with resort policies, safety procedures, and spa-specific protocols.
