About The Position

The Spa Attendant is responsible for maintaining, organizing, and cleaning all necessary items and areas within the Spa, specifically focusing on the Men's Locker Room. This role ensures that all guest supplies are restocked and that all areas are continuously monitored for cleanliness. The position requires adherence to safety protocols, organizational skills, and the ability to work productively with or without supervision. A flexible work schedule, including days, nights, weekdays, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods, is necessary. The attendant must also develop positive working relationships, attend necessary trainings, and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • At least 21 years of age
  • At least two years of licensed driving experience
  • Ability to speak, read, and write the English language
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and congenial manner
  • Ability to hear verbal instructions, directions, and warnings
  • Ability to act calmly and effectively in emergency situations
  • Ability to analyze problems and develop and implement action plans
  • Ability to demonstrate high moral character in handling lost items and valuables

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, organize, and clean all necessary items and areas in the Spa, particularly the Men's Locker Room.
  • Ensure all guest supplies are restocked.
  • Continuously monitor areas for cleanliness.
  • Wear Proper Protective Equipment when recommended.
  • Operate vehicles safely and comply with traffic regulations.
  • Identify and report safety hazards, following up on corrective actions.
  • Inform supervisor of hazardous situations, emergencies, or security threats.
  • Demonstrate organizational skills and work productively with or without supervision.
  • Prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Reach, bend, kneel, stoop, twist, flex arms, walk up and down stairs/inclines, sit, climb ladders, or stand for up to 5 hours at a time.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds from ground level to four feet and carry a distance of up to 50 feet.
  • Walk up to 3 miles per day.
  • Maneuver carts or dollies safely with loads up to 200 pounds.
  • See close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Work under stress from public contact, deadlines, and changing priorities.
  • Clean designated areas according to set guidelines and protocols.
  • Work outdoors and exposed to natural elements.
  • Fold laundry as specified.
  • Operate laundry equipment effectively.
  • Sort soiled laundry appropriately and efficiently.
  • Complete shift check lists for opening or closing shifts.
  • Sanitize touch point areas wearing appropriate protective equipment.
  • Inspect the work of others for conformance to prescribed standards.
  • Report damaged or missing furnishings or decorative items.
  • Complete guest and staff requests in a timely manner.
  • Report to a supervisor if a request cannot be completed timely.
  • Attend daily shift briefing.
  • Complete routine and deep cleaning of areas as required.
  • Sanitize hydrotherapy tub as needed.
  • Stock tea bars, guest locker room amenities, supply closets, and towel storage.
