The Spa Attendant is responsible for maintaining, organizing, and cleaning all necessary items and areas within the Spa. This role ensures that all guest supplies are restocked and that all areas are continuously monitored for cleanliness. The position requires adherence to safety protocols, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment when recommended, and operating vehicles safely. The attendant must identify and report safety hazards, maintain a clean and professional appearance, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills by learning and applying the Mohonk Mountain House Service Steps. A flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, is necessary. The role involves physical tasks such as reaching, bending, kneeling, stooping, twisting, walking, standing for extended periods, lifting, carrying, and maneuvering carts. Visual acuity and the ability to work under stress are also required. Specific duties include cleaning designated areas, folding laundry, operating laundry equipment, sorting laundry, completing shift checklists, sanitizing touch points, inspecting work, reporting damaged items, and completing guest requests. The attendant must also attend daily briefings and perform routine and deep cleaning as needed, including sanitizing hydrotherapy tubs and stocking various areas. Effective communication in English, both verbal and written, and the ability to hear instructions are essential. The role also requires acting calmly in emergencies, analyzing problems, and demonstrating high moral character in handling lost items.
