Requirements

• Proven experience in software testing within the accounting or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory standards impacting software systems.
• Proficiency in test management tools and defect tracking systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple testing projects simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with automation testing frameworks and scripting languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed test plans and test cases specific to accounting software and processes.
• Execute various testing types including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with development teams for timely resolution.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements through rigorous testing procedures.
• Analyze testing results to provide actionable insights and recommendations for process improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, accountants, and project managers to ensure seamless test integration.
• Maintain and update testing documentation to reflect current processes and system changes.
• Assist in the automation of repetitive testing tasks to improve efficiency and accuracy.
