About The Position

The Lighting Specialist will lead and influence specifications at the consultation, engineering, developer, and property management levels for our complete offering of lighting fixtures and lighting control products. They will support the needs of the territory and sales teams while executing lighting plans formulated jointly by the Lighting Sales Director. This role involves conducting product demonstrations for specifiers, contractors, distributors, and end-users, as well as visiting select clients. The specialist will manage and maintain lighting inventory based on needs, understanding client needs, challenges, and technology, along with manufacturer updates. They will also develop long-term relationships with lighting manufacturers and clients professionally and participate in trade shows and manufacturer events.

Requirements

  • Mandatory experience in project management in the lighting industry.
  • One (1) to Three (3) years of experience, preferably in sales, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in AGi32 lighting design and/or recognized IES certification.
  • Knowledge of lighting controls and products.
  • Advanced oral, written, and verbal presentation skills.
  • AGi32 certification
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
