Soybean Production Supervisor
About The Position
This position will be a part of our Soybean Operation and will work directly with our Soybean Manager and team. The ideal candidate should have previous background experience in agriculture and/or a degree in Agriculture or previous experience in seed or farm operations. Training will be provided but the candidate must be a quick learner, willing and able to ask questions, work in a fast-paced environment, and handle many responsibilities. Excellent communication skills are a must and willingness to change and grow with the company. Attention to detail and comfortable working with large spreadsheets to input data throughout different times of the year.
Requirements
- Associate degree + 2 years experience or 4+ years agriculture experience
- Agricultural and/or mechanical experience preferred
- Ability to operate heavy equipment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers, growers, and suppliers daily
- Assist with maintaining customer supply inventory
- Prepare product samples for shipment to quality lab
- Assist in spring, summer, and fall field operations
- Opportunity to operate farm equipment
- Supervise bagging line operations and employees
- Ensure accurate packaging, labeling, and quality standards
- Monitor productivity and assign daily tasks
- Communicate equipment, product, or process issues
- Complete production reports and paperwork
- Assist with equipment operation and preventive maintenance
- Follow and enforce all safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Serve as backup to the Soybean Manager
