The role involves performing sales calls on existing and potential customers, managing customer interactions and opportunities using CRM software, and developing an annual territory sales plan based on a SWOT analysis. The Territory Manager will also analyze market dynamics, maintain strong relationships with top distributors, and promote A.Y. McDonald products through end-user specification, pre-sale education, and engagement with municipalities. Additional duties include attending trade shows, managing expenses, assisting with quotations, prospecting for new accounts, coordinating return goods, utilizing a demonstration truck, and ensuring continuous learning through AYU Courses.
