About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Sous Chef for SSM Health DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton, MO. The Sous Chef will help oversee all culinary food operations for the medical campus. The Sous Chef will come with a leadership background and experience in large, fast-paced kitchen environments.

Requirements

  • a strong culinary background in a high-volume environment
  • strong leadership skills and experience
  • menu planning experience and a strong understanding of current culinary trends
  • proficient computer skills, highly organized, and detail-focused
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • help implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures for hospital
  • supervise, develop, and mentor frontline staff
  • procurement and purchasing
  • help create menus based on client needs
  • help create interpersonal relationships with clients
