About The Position

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef to join our team at a prestigious school in Kew. As Sous Chef, you will be joining a large culinary team responsible for the catering for our students.

Requirements

  • Previous experience within a similar capacity gained in exciting and influential cafes, restaurants, hotels, schools and function environments
  • Strong emphasis on modern, well-being inspired menus with a focus on visual presentation
  • The ability to switch from café style flair to fine-dining and function standard food
  • Ability to maintain a calm and respectful demeanour - always!

Responsibilities

  • Assist and oversee the preparation, cooking and presentation of all our innovative and mouth-watering culinary offerings
  • Manage bulk cooking production alongside occasional function and banqueting requirements
  • Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating
  • Ensuring accurate implementation of allergy awareness controls
  • Pursuing and fulfilling great ideas and seeking opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure the safe production of a high-quality product without comprise to the food safety guidelines provided
