About The Position

We are looking for a hands-on Sous Chef who takes pride in an open-kitchen environment, thrives in a fast-paced luxury setting, and leads by example with an ego-free, positive attitude.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of culinary supervisory experience in a luxury restaurant or premium hotel environment.
  • Deep experience in fine dining or high-end scratch kitchens (refined Italian exposure is highly valued).
  • Exceptional communication skills and a "lead-from-the-front" work ethic.
  • NYC Food Handlers Card (Department of Health and Hygiene certified) is required.
  • Full flexibility to work long shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the culinary leadership team to run flawless services, expedite with precision, and maintain elite standards of excellence.
  • Manage recipe consistency, item costing, prep lists, and product sourcing while executing strict temperature and sanitation controls.
  • Guide, train, and motivate line cooks, ensuring a collaborative and highly clean workspace (including team-driven end-of-shift cleanups).
