Sous Chef Role Overview Sodexo is seeking a Sous Chef to support foodservice operations at Kaiser Permanente in Redwood City, California . This position is ideal for a hands-on culinary professional who enjoys leading food preparation at an assigned station while maintaining high standards in a healthcare environment. The Sous Chef plays an important role in daily kitchen execution, supporting quality, consistency, and teamwork. SodexoMagic is the joint venture partnership between NBA Hall of Famer, Earvin “Magic” Johnson and Sodexo. What You'll Do Lead food preparation and production at an assigned station, ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation standards Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and safety practices Provide direction and support to team members assigned to the station Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements in alignment with Sodexo and Kaiser Permanente standards What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
