About The Position

Immanuel Communities is seeking a Full Time Sous Chef to work at Lakeside located at 17475 Frances Street, Omaha, NE 68130. Lakeside has been voted “Best of Omaha” in the senior living category for 15 years. It has 89 independent, 49 assisted living and 12 memory support apartment homes along with 18 lofts. This position will pay up to $25.00/hour. Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

Requirements

Two (2) years of cooking experience above the level of fast food or fast casual dining is required.
BLS Certificaton (Basic Life Support) or willing to obtain is required (Immanuel will pay for the training).
Minimum age of 19 years old is required.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

All types of food preparation, including yet not limited to baking, grilling, stove-top and oven cooking; and cleaning the kitchen.
May be assigned to oversee progress of kitchen staff abilities, kitchen projects or special events, certain aspects of food preparation in the kitchen, inventory management and oversees the kitchen function when the Team Lead of Food & Nutrition Services is not available.
