Requirements

  • Excellent knife skills and high-volume restaurant experience.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.
  • Positive attitude and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Previous experience in training culinary team members.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift heavy objects.
  • Previous high volume restaurant kitchen experience.
  • Ability to read and identify order items on a chit ticket.

Responsibilities

  • Train and mentor team members on food prep, cooking techniques, and standards.
  • Lead the team during shifts, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with line cooks to coordinate timely order completion.
  • Uphold high culinary standards for food quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and provide constructive feedback.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, motivating and inspiring the team.
  • Handle challenges with composure, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Communicate with expeditor to maintain organizational efficiency.
  • Act as a liaison between culinary staff and management.
