Centro Mexican Kitchen in Boulder is looking for a talented, driven, and energetic Sous Chef. The ideal candidate will respect the food and the team, follow instructions, and surpass expectations. When the Chef is off, the Sous Chef is expected to lead the kitchen, build culture, and execute consistently delicious food. A high standard of quality, consistency, flavor, plating, and overall deliciousness is paramount. Efficiency, cleanliness, and a drive for greatness are also key. The Sous Chef will report directly to and collaborate with the Chef and General Manager. This role requires knowledge and experience to contribute to the success of a busy kitchen, with Latin/Mexican food experience being preferred. The Sous Chef will manage equipment and facilities, cook great food, lead a great team, and have fun doing it.
