About The Position
Sodexo is seeking a Sous Chef for UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital in Longmont, CO. The Sous Chef will oversee culinary food operations including fostering and developing a team of employees. If you have a background as a Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, and/or have any culinary leadership experience, you are encouraged to apply now!
Requirements
- A strong culinary background in a high-volume environment
- Healthcare background or understanding of special diets
- Strong leadership skills and experience
- Menu planning experience and a strong understanding of current culinary trends
- Proficient computer skills, highly organized, and detail-focused
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Help implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures for hospital
- Supervise, develop, and mentor frontline staff
- Procurement and purchasing
- Help create menus based on client needs
- Help create interpersonal relationships with clients
