About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Sous Chef for UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital in Longmont, CO. The Sous Chef will oversee culinary food operations including fostering and developing a team of employees. If you have a background as a Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, and/or have any culinary leadership experience, you are encouraged to apply now!

Requirements

  • A strong culinary background in a high-volume environment
  • Healthcare background or understanding of special diets
  • Strong leadership skills and experience
  • Menu planning experience and a strong understanding of current culinary trends
  • Proficient computer skills, highly organized, and detail-focused
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Help implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures for hospital
  • Supervise, develop, and mentor frontline staff
  • Procurement and purchasing
  • Help create menus based on client needs
  • Help create interpersonal relationships with clients
