About The Position

Global Team Staffing is currently hiring an experienced Sous Chef for a full-time opportunity in Pascagoula, Mississippi. This position offers a schedule of Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, for 40 hours per week, with potential for overtime. The role may be extended and could lead to permanent employment.

Requirements

• Previous Sous Chef experience OR strong culinary leadership experience is required
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to resolve interpersonal situations professionally
• Must be able to read, write, understand verbal instructions, and perform basic arithmetic
• Must complete required sanitation training
• Candidates must be able to complete required pre-employment screening, including a background check, drug screening, Mississippi Department of Health fingerprinting, and applicable healthcare-related requirements.
• An interview is required

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordinating and leading daily food service operations
• Help oversee and provide direction to food service staff
• Work closely with management and other team members
• Support kitchen operations wherever needed
• Help maintain an efficient, organized, and cost-effective food service operation
