About The Position
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join our growing team in Williamsville, NY. Canterbury Woods is a continuing care retirement community unlike any you’ve ever seen. Requirements
- Three (3) years of culinary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility is preferred.
- ServSafe certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with menu development, recipes, and production sheets.
- Ensure that catering events, happy hours, and related events are completed, garnished, and creative.
- Address food quality and ensure that food is plated and served in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all equipment is maintained and in good working order.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings with line chefs and waitstaff.
- Manage food costs by proper ordering according to production needs.
- Assist with inventory management.
