The ideal candidate will be the Executive Chef's trusted second in command, helping to deliver exceptional dining experiences. By ensuring high standards of quality, taste and presentation. Looking for a leader who can manage kitchen operation, mentor staff and maintain efficiency and sanitation in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar culinary leadership role or as a Sous Chef experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Strong culinary background in high-end or fast-paced kitchens.
  • Proven experience in kitchen operations, prep systems, and service execution
  • Solid understanding of food safety standards and kitchen organization
  • Ability to contribute to menu development and seasonal planning
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on mentorship and team development
  • Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Calm, focused presence during high-pressure service
  • High level of reliability, consistency, and personal accountability
  • Relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Help lead and support the kitchen team by training, coaching, and motivating staff
  • Assist the Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations and step in when they are absent
  • Help plan menus and develop recipes that meet quality standards and guest expectations
  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented consistently and at a high level
  • Maintain a clean, organized kitchen that meets all health and safety standards
  • Manage food quality, food costs, inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
  • Control costs by supporting scheduling, budgeting, and purchasing decisions
  • Work closely with other departments and attend meetings to keep operations running smoothly
