About The Position

Working alongside the Executive Sous Chef at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, we are seeking a Sous Chef who will be responsible for assisting the executive chef in the planning, directing, controlling, coordinating, and participating in the daily activities of food preparation in all the kitchens and banquet operations. This role offers the opportunity to work for an award-winning luxury hotel group, learn and grow within a diverse multi-outlet property, and provides an exceptional benefits package.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in a luxury hotel or other luxury environment
  • An open and flexible schedule with the ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships to ensure an exquisite dining experience for all hotel guests
  • Organization skills including time management and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • US work authorization

Responsibilities

  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
  • Ensure that all kitchen personnel follow and understand their job description.
  • Assists the Executive Chef to ensure the Hotel’s high standards are maintained and improved upon
