About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Kaiser Permanente in Modesto, CA. In this role, you will support high-quality food service operations in a fast‑paced healthcare environment, ensuring exceptional food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This strategic alliance enables us to deliver creative solutions to our clients along with our local partners throughout the communities we serve. For almost 20 years, we have provided top-level food, facilities management and integrated services to corporations, healthcare facilities, K-12 schools, colleges, universities and aviation lounges. What You'll Do Support daily food production and service across patient, retail, and catering operations in a healthcare environment Assist with menu execution, recipe compliance, and quality control Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards (HACCP, regulatory compliance) Supervise, train, and schedule kitchen staff to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent operations Help manage inventory, food costs, and waste reduction while maintaining high service standards What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
