About The Position

Primrose Retirement Communities is seeking a Sous Chef to assist with daily kitchen operations. This role involves creating high-quality nutritious meals and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for residents and guests. The Sous Chef also acts as the kitchen lead and is responsible for supervising all kitchen operations when the Dining Director is absent.

Requirements

  • Sanitation Certified (ServSafe) or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire
  • High volume production or catering experience is essential
  • Must be flexible and accommodating to residents and guests
  • Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
  • Must have a solid work ethic, positive attitude, and be a good team player
  • Available to work weekend and holiday rotation

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or kitchen supervisory experience preferred
