About The Position

As a Sous Chef, you support the Executive Chef in leading food production, presentation, and kitchen operations while maintaining high culinary, sanitation, and regulatory standards. You help drive food quality, kitchen efficiency, and team performance while supporting regulatory readiness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily food production and presentation
• Support supervision and coaching of dining team members
• Ensure proper portioning, plating, and therapeutic diet compliance
• Monitor food costs, purchasing, and inventory controls
• Maintain accurate production sheets and temperature logs
• Enforce HACCP and food safety standards
• Support special events, banquets, and catering
• Engage with residents to monitor satisfaction
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
