About The Position

Conrad Orlando is seeking a Sous Chef for Sophia's. This role involves leading daily kitchen operations and creating memorable experiences for guests. The Conrad Orlando is a luxury resort located on the Evermore Orlando Resort property, bordering Walt Disney World, featuring 433 rooms, extensive meeting space, a spa, golf courses, and multiple food and beverage outlets including restaurants, a cocktail bar, and marketplace.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership and in-the-moment coaching to kitchen staff, with either a focus on Outlets or Banquets
• Manage daily kitchen operations, including creating and monitoring production lists, completing line checks, and expediting service periods
• Develop and implement seasonal menus, promotional features, and daily specials
• Foster strong, positive relationships between Front of House and Back of House teams to ensure seamless operations
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, and scheduling
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing
