About The Position
Sodexo is seeking a Sous Chef to lead daily culinary operations for their food team at HMH Riverview Medical Center located in Red Bank, New Jersey. Riverview Medical Center is a nonprofit community hospital with approximately 460 beds, offering comprehensive services including emergency, maternity, and cancer care.
Requirements
- Maintain full compliance with all local, state, federal, and Sodexo regulatory requirements.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times without exception.
- Lead food and physical safety initiatives, including completion of annual safety training for all hourly production associates.
- Support and implement innovative and fresh culinary ideas across retail dining, catering, and patient services.
- Build strong interpersonal relationships with hospital clients, stakeholders, and care teams.
- Communicate effectively with multiple audiences, developing trust and strong relationships with customers and patients.
- Successfully multitask and perform in a high‑standards‑driven environment.
- Servsafe certified as well as working knowledge of HACCP and experience with Health and Safety audits.
