About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sous Chef to assist the Executive Chef and Banquet Chef in leading daily kitchen operations at Minneapolis Golf Club. This role supports both à la carte dining and banquet production while ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and kitchen organization. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative culinary team. Requirements

  • Culinary degree or at least 4+ years of kitchen experience in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, or club
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Food Management certification preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations and service execution
  • Supervise and support line cooks and kitchen staff
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
  • Assist with à la carte service and banquet production
  • Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner
  • Maintain sanitation standards in accordance with health department regulations
  • Ensure proper labeling, dating, and storage of food products
  • Help train and mentor kitchen staff
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen
