Lead an iconic Asheville kitchen with creative input, real responsibility, and room to grow. Pack's Tavern is hiring a Sous Chef / Assistant Kitchen Manager for our downtown Asheville restaurant. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys the pace of a busy kitchen, takes pride in great food, and wants to be involved in more than daily service. You'll help lead the kitchen during shifts, support expo, keep standards consistent, and work with the team to keep service running smoothly. You'll also be involved in the planning and creative side of the kitchen, including ordering, inventory, prep planning, scheduling support, specials, menu testing, and new food ideas. Pack's Tavern is family-owned, not corporate-run. We're looking for someone who wants to lead, contribute, and help run a kitchen that is organized, consistent, and enjoyable to be part of.
