About The Position

ReNuke Services is seeking a Sourcing Specialist for our client's site in Charlotte, NC. This role involves developing sourcing strategies for complex, high-value equipment or services in collaboration with key customers. The specialist will participate in cross-functional teams to implement these strategies, negotiate with suppliers and manufacturers, and manage post-award supplier activities. The position requires maintaining effective relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers, as well as staying informed about market conditions and commodity trends.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience with a degree.
• 14 years of experience with no degree.
• Level II Requires 10 years of experience.

• Bachelor degree preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develops sourcing strategies along with key customers for complex high value equipment or services.
• Participates in cross functional teams to implement sourcing strategies.
• Negotiates with middle, but primarily, upper level management of suppliers and manufacturers.
• Develops requests for quotations and proposals.
• Analyzes supplier responses and negotiates and awards contracts and agreements.
• Performs purchase order and agreement maintenance including invoice mismatches, prices changes, etc.
• Maintains effective interfaces with internal and external customers and suppliers.
• Manages post award supplier activities, settlements, claims or disputes.
• Maintains knowledge of commodities, sources of supply, diversity opportunities and market conditions that may impact future procurement.
