About The Position

Support supply-related activities for a facility, delivering excellence and integration between procurement and the team supporting the facility. The role develops and maintains supplier roadmaps aligned with organizational goals, market trends, and global supply chain strategy; researches supplier markets and sourcing opportunities; evaluates supplier capacity, scalability, and risks; and collaborates with internal teams to meet business, technical, and financial needs. The position also monitors supplier performance and drives continuous improvement, efficiency, resilience, and cost savings across the supply base. This position requires working onsite five days a week.

Requirements

Business or Engineering degree.
Working experience in a sourcing role.
Experience in a related industry.

Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and continuously improve roadmaps for assigned categories, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, future market trends, and global supply chain strategy.
Drive standardization, automation, and consistency of supplier planning tools and systems across the organization.
Maintain knowledge of global supplier markets, emerging technologies, and alternative manufacturing methods.
Identify new sourcing opportunities, potential suppliers, and capabilities that can improve competitiveness and supply chain resilience.
Assess and monitor supplier production capacity, scalability, and contingency capabilities in alignment with demand forecasts and growth plans.
Support sourcing decisions with capacity and risk evaluations as sourcing strategies mature.
Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks, including capacity constraints, geopolitical exposure, and supply continuity threats.
Develop and maintain contingency and risk mitigation plans in collaboration with value-stream and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and other internal teams to align strategies with business needs, technical requirements, and financial objectives.
Monitor supplier performance metrics and implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency, resilience, and cost savings.
