About The Position
Volt is immediately hiring a Sourcing Specialist in San Diego, CA. As a Sourcing Specialist, you will source new domestic and international suppliers for a variety of mechanical components and parts. You will analyze pricing, supplier performance, and bids to narrow suppliers down to the top 3 in a team environment, working across multiple departments. You will also negotiate costs and pricing, and continuously analyze supplier performance and build relations and source new suppliers.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in a Sourcing role - core responsibilities were sourcing, not just purchasing
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Be able to pass a 7 year criminal background check and drug test
