About The Position

The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for managing an assigned territory and all service partners within that territory. The SP will think/work strategically analyzing and forecasting their territory's needs, monitoring current service partner's capacity and performance, and sourcing new providers in the event the current network needs. SP will also be responsible for negotiating prices, as well as, coaching and training service partners. The SP will be held accountable for the performance and capacity of the service partners in their assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
  • Proficient to advanced PC Skills including (but not limited to) MS Word, MS Excel, email, internet and customized database management.
  • Must be able to read and/or interpret numbers and letters correctly.
  • Must work with numbers to calculate timeframe and evaluate costs and losses
  • Must demonstrate organization and prioritization skills to manage time
  • Four year college degree or equivalent work experience
  • Preferred six months experience in the SFR or Commercial facilities maintenance industry

Responsibilities

  • Interact with service partners to ensure adequate communication regarding goal setting, performance, workflow guidelines, and other service partner service partner-related responsibilities.
  • Manage service partner productivity, monitor workload, and ensure that quality standards and revenue goals are consistently achieved.
  • Support and ensure compliance with client, office, and company standards, policies, and procedures for all service partners within an assigned territory.
  • Provide and communicate service partner guidance, tools, best practices, and training needs.
  • Identify, research, and effectively communicate any systemic or process issues found; facilitate, communicate, and implement resolutions when appropriate.
  • service partner provide analysis of territory for strategic planning for future opportunities
  • Successfully negotiate pricing with new and existing service partners to ensure that they are aligned with current MCS rates and closely related to the necessary rates for the local area.
  • Perform service partner audits to ensure service partners are following proper policies and workflow guidelines and are in compliance with Client, office, and MCS company standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Analyze the current network of service partners to assigned territory and source new providers where needed to ensure competitive price and support for operations.
  • Vet potential new service partners and complete onboarding process
  • Action sourcing plan for new client implementations to ensure service partner readiness and dispatch matrix is active.
