About the role: Alcoa is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to support procurement activities for demolition, remediation, and other transformation projects across our closed and curtailed locations. Central aspects of the role include but are not limited to: strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, contractor management, and ensuring compliance with global procurement policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3+ years of procurement experience, including negotiation and sourcing.
  • Ability to work with virtual customers at various organization levels
  • Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder‑influencing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with virtual, cross‑functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint; experience with Oracle EBS and DocuSign is a plus.
  • Fluent/advanced English required.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certifications (CPM, APICS, CIPS, PMP) preferred.
  • experience with Oracle EBS and DocuSign is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end procurement for assigned projects, including scope development, sourcing strategy, contractor shortlists, bid reviews, and award recommendations.
  • Negotiate project‑specific and master agreements for demolition, remediation, abatement, environmental consulting, and related services.
  • Manage contractor and supplier relationships, ensuring performance, issue resolution, and alignment with project needs.
  • Track cost savings and avoidance opportunities; support quarterly project reviews and procurement forecasting.
  • Coordinate with internal partners—including Legal, commodity managers, and environmental teams—to support project execution across multiple locations.
  • Prioritize diverse procurement needs while implementing global procurement strategies and managing multi-million‑dollar agreements.
