Sourcing Specialist
About The Position
Supporting the Product Sourcing Managers and their Vendor relationships through timely and accurate communication, including, but not limited to: General vendor queries & communication, Facilitating vendor activities to deliver on project deadlines, Support identification of new vendors, Product data Maintenance, creation and issue resolution, Setting up new vendor contracts on the Kingfisher system and ensuring relevant information is validated and maintained, Co-ordination of meetings and conversations across the group, Team / Category administration and support, Internal stakeholder / relationship management, Occasional visits to vendors / stores, some travel may be required.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; especially Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Effective time management skills
- Excellent verbal & written communication
- Keen attention to detail & accuracy
- Strong numerical ability
- Basic project management skills
- Prior procurement/ retail experience
