About The Position
Volt is immediately hiring a Sourcing Specialist in San Diego, CA. This is a full-time one-year temporary role with potential to go temp to hire. The role requires you to work full time, onsite at the facility.
Requirements
- 3 years of years experience in a Sourcing role
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Be able to pass a 7 year criminal background check and drug test
Responsibilities
- Source new domestic and international suppliers for a variety of mechanical components and parts
- Analyze pricing, supplier performance and bids to narrow suppliers down to top 3 in a team environment; working across multiple departments
- Negotiate costs and pricing
- Continuously analyze supplier performance and build relations and source new suppliers
