About The Position

The Sourcing Specialist is an experienced individual contributor responsible for executing low to moderately complex sourcing projects end-to-end with minimal supervision. This role specializes in Information Technology (IT) sourcing, covering software, hardware, cloud, and infrastructure categories aligned to the procurement taxonomy. The role supports RFx execution, supplier evaluation, stakeholder engagement, and value delivery while ensuring compliance, documentation rigor, and audit readiness. The primary sourcing focus includes, however not limited to, IT procurement categories such as: Software (SaaS, enterprise applications, licenses), Hardware (end-user devices, servers, storage), Cloud & Infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, hosting, data centers), and IT Services (implementation, support, managed services).

Requirements

  • Experience in Information Technology (IT) sourcing, covering software, hardware, cloud, and infrastructure categories.
  • Experience with RFx execution (RFIs, RFPs, RFQs).
  • Experience in supplier evaluation and analysis.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in value delivery.
  • Experience ensuring compliance, documentation rigor, and audit readiness.
  • Experience in cost and scenario analysis.
  • Experience supporting commercial negotiations.
  • Experience managing supplier interactions.
  • Experience with contracting processes.
  • Experience partnering with Legal, Finance, and Procurement Operations.
  • Experience with PO creation and supplier onboarding.
  • Experience identifying and implementing improvements in sourcing execution, templates, and processes.
  • Experience sharing best practices and supporting capability building.

Responsibilities

  • Execute low to moderately complex sourcing projects from intake to award with minimal supervision
  • Prepare RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs; manage supplier communication and timelines
  • Analyze bids and develop structured evaluation summaries to support decision-making
  • Perform cost and scenario analysis to support commercial negotiations
  • Support negotiation of pricing and commercial terms within delegated authority
  • Act as primary point of contact for stakeholders during sourcing events
  • Manage supplier interactions across RFx lifecycle and contracting process
  • Ensure sourcing events are audit-ready with complete documentation and approvals
  • Maintain compliance with procurement policies, risk, and governance standards
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, and Procurement Operations to enable contract execution and supplier onboarding
  • Support seamless post-award handoffs including PO creation and onboarding
  • Identify and implement improvements in sourcing execution, templates, and processes
  • Share best practices and support capability building within the SCoE
