About The Position

The Job Placement Program is a temporary work placement program which allows our most talented frontline Team Members to gain professional work experience and networking opportunities by completing temporary work assignments in our theme park offices. The goal is to prepare frontline Team Members to transition into full-time careers!

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working with both internal partners and external suppliers.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Familiarity with inventory management, expiration tracking, and cost impact awareness.
  • Ability to work onsite and collaborate hands-on with operational teams.
  • Must have 8 or below attendance points AND no more than a Written Warning 2 in the last 6 months.
  • Must have 7 or below variance points AND no more than a Final Written Warning in the last 6 months.
  • No more than a Final Written Warning level discipline in the last 6 months.
  • Must have passed or be within 75% through probation during application/ selection and must have passed probation as of start date of role.
  • Must be current USH Team Member.
  • Must have full open availability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day sourcing activities for assigned categories, ensuring product availability and continuity of supply.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, shortages, quality issues, and backorders.
  • Coordinate emergency recovery orders and alternate sourcing solutions when supply disruptions occur.
  • Create, track, and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Support special event sourcing needs (e.g., seasonal events, HHN, promotions) by coordinating product readiness and timelines.
  • Partner with Food Operations, Warehouse & Distribution, and Shared Services to align on volume needs, delivery schedules, and operational priorities.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with venue leaders and stakeholders regarding order status, shortages, and resolutions.
  • Participate in regular cross-functional meetings related to sourcing, inventory, and operational planning.
  • Assist with tracking spend, sourcing activity, open issues, and inventory risk reports.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to suppliers, specifications, and sourcing decisions.
