About The Position

The Sourcing & Procurement Specialist executes strategic sourcing projects for an assigned category to identify and capture savings opportunities across Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings. The role works with customer groups to establish category specifications, analyzes markets and spending, evaluates supplier quotes, and supports sourcing strategy development and execution. It also contributes to supplier selection and negotiations, tracks and reports realized savings, monitors supplier performance, manages key supplier relationships across business divisions, and assists with contracts for strategic purchases and large spot buys when no existing contracts are available. Other job-related functions may be assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–4 years of strategic sourcing or procurement consulting experience.
• Demonstrated success leading project teams to achieve quantifiable savings through sourcing methods.
• Ability to drive change in a global, decentralized organization with minimal supervision.
• Strong project management skills and a results-oriented approach.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral communication, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to gather data, conduct analyses, and generate high-quality outputs.
• Strong negotiation management experience.
• Firsthand working knowledge of strategic sourcing methodology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Analytical, influencing, facilitating, team-building, strategic-thinking, and process-driven skills.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of eProcurement and eCatalog management systems.
• Technical knowledge and expertise in certain commodity areas.
• Experience with Ariba Sourcing, eRFX, and eAuctions.

Responsibilities

• Work with customer groups to establish specifications for the assigned category.
• Perform market, benchmark, and spend analyses for assigned category projects.
• Obtain supplier quotes and complete comparative analyses.
• Assist managers in developing and executing assigned sourcing strategies.
• Assist with supplier selection and the negotiation process.
• Establish savings-tracking methodology, track savings, and continually report realized savings.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships with key suppliers across multiple business divisions.
• Assist in placing contracts for strategic purchases and large spot buys when no existing contracts exist.
• Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
