The Sourcing Manager - Medical Education and Publication Planning will drive the execution of commodity strategies on R/OPU level and manage sourcing activities for specific, centralized or center-led, commodities, negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. This role is responsible for overseeing the sourcing process within the allocated commodities, perform business partnering with the relevant stakeholders within the commodity, coordinates with Category Managers to provide feedback and support on commodity specific strategies and manage operational issues. The Sourcing Manager implements the sourcing strategy for the centralized or center-led commodities in line with the overall company sourcing strategy to constantly increase productivity, optimize external global spend, and reduce costs.
